Product Description

The compressed air produced by the compressor is impure. The air compressor itself contains lubricating oil. When performing compression work, some lubricating oil must be mixed into the compressed air. In addition, the natural air itself contains some solid particles and moisture. When unpurified gas is used directly in the pneumatic circuit, it will cause some failures in the pneumatic circuit, damage the pneumatic components, reduce the service life of the components, and reduce production efficiency. Even cause accidents. Therefore, it is an indispensable and important link in the pneumatic system to purify these compressed gases through post-processing equipment to obtain pure compressed gases.

To achieve lower dew points, consider a combination of drying techniques. For example, use a refrigeration dryer to reduce the temperature of the compressed air, and then use an adsorption dryer to further remove moisture. This lowers the dew point while increasing efficiency.

Adsorption dryers use adsorbents, such as activated carbon or molecular sieves, to absorb moisture from compressed air and release the adsorbed moisture through a regeneration process. Common adsorption dryers include PSA (pressure swing adsorption) and HOC (heat of compression) dryers. These dryers achieve lower dew points, typically -40°C to -70°C.

It should be noted that reducing the pressure dew point of compressed air to -70°C requires high technical requirements and equipment costs.
