I. INSTALLATION
Clean the compressed air system before installation.
Pay attention the direction of the arrow of valve body when installation: please do not use the soft hose without air pressure resistance at the water outlet.
Supply voltage should be same as drain valve voltage; Connect the positive pole with connecting pole of "1" when using the DC voltage.
The drain valve with cable wired at the factory, whichis the brown wire as the live wire L, blue wire is the neutral wire N, and the wire of green and yellow is the earth wire.
Fix the long screw on the DIN connector tightly to avoid burning by leaked water. Please make sure when installation valve: The compressed air has been exhausted ( with pressure under zero) The power has been cut off.
II. TIMER SETTING
1. OPT timer
The left knob is for drainage time, the right knob is for setting interval time. First setting the drain time to 2S, and interval time to 20 mins, and then adjust as your exact needs.
2. JDV Timer
2.1. Press the ON (OFF) button for 3 seconds, the last set SEC ON (MIN OFF) will be displayed with flash, releasing one ON button reduces one unit, press one OFF button increase one button to store the data and exit the setting mode. After setting, the system return to normal working mode and the new timing set will be working in the next working cycle.
2.2.Time Checking & Manual Test
Under normal working condition, for example when in ON (OFF) condition, pressing OFF (ON) button will display the set time for OFF (ON) condition, and then go into OFF(ON) work condition.
Under normal working condition, press the TEST/ENTER button and then release, it will go into the next primary condition, that is "ON" condition with ON light on, the timing will be recalculated to the power output, which can also be the manual test button.
III. TREATMENT TO ABNORMAL CONDITION
1. The drain valve is working normally but no water is drained, the possible trouble is the filter screen is blocked. Clean the filter screen, which need to clean the filter screen monthly at least.
2.In condition that no parts are defected, the drain valve can not powder sustance in the cooling water goes through the filter sleeve, which blocks the valve core, you need to clean the valve core in such accident.
3. Valve Core Cleaning
3.1. Turn off the e-valve and exhaust the air by pressing the TEST button, to ensure the drain valve is separated from the compressed air system (at zero pressure)
3.2. Cut off the power supply of the drain valve.
3.3. Disassemble the coil. (before disassemble the coil, power to the drain valve must be cut off, otherwise the coil will be burned when the power is ON), unscrew the nut and take out the valve core and the spring, clean the valve seat, valve core, spring and valve sleeve, then reassembling after clean.
